Men’s fashion has seen amazing progress in the past few years. Since the urban world has been embracing more and more prep I thought it time to do so as well. My only issue is that most dress shoes aren’t built for the way I walk (my spirit animal is Tyson Beckford), which has me ending up with bills in heel repair every few months.
Thankfully, a recent email solved that problem. Oakwoods, an amazing brand that I rarely hear a buzz from was being featured in an amateur fashion show! After volunteering to help out I got to take home the collection. It pays to be a sample size I suppose. As an added bonus, all of the pairs of shoes were in colors I’ve been dying to find. Essentially, this was a win-win all around. I helped out a good cause and got great shoes. Yes, Please!
